Volunteering

Are you looking to travel to Haiti for a weekend clinic trip? 

We clinic trips and remote clinics several times a year. We will arrange the lodging, meals and provide flight information. Volunteers are responsible for these costs and booking airline tickets. Volunteers are also responsible for a portion of their in-country expenses when traveling to Haiti with us.

• Is your religious or social organization searching for a mission to embrace?
• Is your workplace in need of an outreach opportunity? 
• Is your school or classroom looking for a charitable giving project? 

A few ideas are: 

*Assemble care packages and hygiene kits 

*Host a drive for supplies and over-the-counter medications 

*Fundraise or Sponsor a clinic project or needed medical equipment

Internships are extremely valuable in helping Haiti Clinic achieve its  mission. Although there is no financial reimbursement for your work, you will gain a wealth of experience, networking opportunities and personal growth. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to enhance their resume and build experience in the non‐profit field.

• Grant Writing – Research and evaluate grant opportunities, facilitate proposals, and compile reports on grant prospects.
• Public Relations/Communication – Develop stories as needed to be used in communications, appeals and press releases.
• Special Event/Community outreach – Helping with fundraising events, contacting vendors and locations, work closely with local schools, churches and business. The ideal candidate would live in the Vero Beach or Fort Lauderdale area.
• Social Media – Social Media initiatives and online marketing. 

These positions are state side and offer very flexible work hours, allowing the ability to work almost entirely from home or remotely. If this position meets a college requirement, we will work with you to fulfill reporting, supervision and evaluation requirements.
