Our clinics are located in Cite Soleil – a slum on the outskirts of Port au Prince. We depend on the help of volunteers like you to help treat patients in dire need of medical attention. For over 2 years, we have brought Doctors, Mid-level providers, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Nurses and non-medical support staff to this poverty-stricken village and its nearly 300,000 residents – providing basic, emergency, and preventative care.

We work closely with our Haitian partners to ensure that our volunteers are taken care of properly while in Cite Soleil. We stay together at a local hotel (meeting basic American standards) and our partners provide us with translators, patient intake functionality, and safety and security precautions.

This type of volunteer work is a major contribution and an absolutely vital component to our cause. However it is not without cost. Team members donate not only their time and effort but also pay for their travel, lodging and food expenses. The cost for one weekend is approximately $700 and team members are encouraged to keep receipts of these costs for tax purposes. This may seem costly, but the help it brings is priceless.
