Financial donations are a simple way to support both the Haiti Clinic and the residents of Haiti, the majority of who live in dire poverty and struggle to survive on less than $2.00 a day. In Cite Soleil, it is estimated that more than half of the residents live on less than $.44 a day.  Many of the things we often take for granted– clean water, abundant food, basic sanitation, medical care – are practically unheard of. Your gift, big or small, helps us on our mission to change that.

You may choose to donate money to the Haiti Clinic in two ways; a one-time donation or a recurring donation. We encourage recurring donations because they are a reliable and effective way for Haiti Clinic to support current programs, start new programs, and make real, sustainable commitments to the residents of Haiti.

Here are some examples of how your recurring donation could help:

$10 a month = $120 a year

• Pays for 3 Interpreters for 1 clinic
• Pays for 3 Community Health Agents for 1 clinic
• Pays for 5 Security Staff for 1 clinic
• Buys enough 2.5 strength reading glasses for 1 clinic
• Pays for 24 patient visits per year, including all needed medications

$20 a month = $240 a year

• Buys enough children’s and adult’s vitamins for 1 clinic
• Pays a Haitian Dr. to work a full weekend clinic
• Buys enough rehydration salts for 3 clinics
• Buys enough gasoline to run the generator for 2 clinics
• Pays for 48 patient visits per year, including all needed medications

$30 a month = $360 a year

• Provides air fare for one needy, but invaluable volunteer for 1 clinic
• Pays for 5 translators (full staffing) for 1 clinic
• Buys enough 2.5 strength reading glasses for almost 4 clinics
• Pays for a full weekend of transportation including a driver and a van
• Pays for 72 patient visits per year, including all needed medications

$50 a month = $600 a year

• Buys all the children’s’ medications for 1 clinic
• Pays the salaries of all Haitian workers needed for 1 clinic
• Buys 25% of the medications needed for 1 clinic
• Would subsidize all travel and room and board for 1 volunteer for 1 clinic
• Pays for 120 patient visits per year, including all needed medications

$75 a month = $900 a year

• Buys all the anti worming medications needed for the entire year
• Pays for half of the general costs (not including meds) for 1 clinic
• Buys almost half of the medications we need for 1 clinic
• Pays our Haitian Partners administrative salaries for 4 months
• Pays for 180 patient visits per year, including all needed medications

$100 a month = $1200 a year

• Pays 1 month of salary for 1 Haitian Dr. who can provide ongoing care out of our clinic on a daily basis.
• Buys half of the medications needed for 1 clinic
• Provides all the funds we budget for transportation to other care for our patients for the entire year of clinics
• Buys the gasoline for  the generator for a year of clinics
• Pays for 240 patient visits per year, including all needed medications
